U8 Greens

A big welcome from the Under 8 Greens!

The majority of the team graduated from the Little Stingers in September ’24. The team began training as the Newbies, playing friendlies and most importantly having fun whilst learning to work together as a team before starting their league matches in March ’25.

Whether completely new to the game, or Rugby mad, the Greens welcome all experience and abilities!

Our passion is helping the kids to learn to love rugby, whilst providing focus and the opportunity to build brilliant friendships. We deliver structured training sessions in a safe and supportive environment, focusing on teamwork, discipline and basic Rugby skills. But most importantly, we want the kids to have fun whilst doing it and encourage the team to support each other and demonstrate great sportsmanship. Our goal is to help the kids to build confidence both on and off the pitch.

Our main coach is Jacob, he came through Little Stingers with the team and moved on to coaching this year. Having played Rugby himself for 8 years, Jacob wanted the team to experience a love for the game like he did!

Assistant coaches Sam, Scott and Tony provide much needed support in training and matches- they are always willing to get stuck in and we are always grateful to have them!
