U9 Reds

The Under 9s Reds, alongside the current Blacks and Greens, are proud to be among the first groups to complete all three stages of the Little Stingers programme. It’s a brilliant milestone that reflects the children’s hard work, enthusiasm, and love for the game.

Our team is made up mainly of children from Widnes, with several players also joining us from the wider St Helens area. That mix brings great character, energy, and team spirit to everything we do.

We’re also extremely grateful for the support of a number of local businesses who help make our journey possible. Our sponsors include Widnes Eats, Ireland’s Deli and Bistro, FD Waste Solutions, Custom uPVC Widnes, Farrell Brickwork, as well as Adaptainer in Ipswich and Mangan Haulage in Ireland. Their backing allows us to give the children the best experience both on and off the pitch.
