We acknowledge our responsibility to safeguard the welfare of every child, young person and vulnerable adult who has been entrusted to our care and is committed to working to provide a safe environment for all of our members.

We subscribe to the RFL Safeguarding & Protecting Children & Vulnerable Adults Policy.

What is the Club Welfare Officer
Primary role is making sure that at HFH we have a safe and enjoyable environment for all the children and young adults to come and learn to play Rugby League.

As a whole HFH (including coaches, volunteers and you as parents) have a responsibility of the welfare and safety of the children and young people at our club.

We all have a duty of care to report any incidents, allegations or suspicions of poor practice and that is what the Club Welfare Officer is here for.

Along with your coaches the Club Welfare Officer is the first point of contact, if you have any concerns about your child’s safety or issues of bullying.

Any information given is held in the strictest confidence.
