🏉 Welcome to the U7 Newbies – Where the Rugby Journey Begins! 🏉
A huge welcome to all our brand new players (and parents!) joining the U7 Newbies – the perfect first step into the world of rugby league.
Our Newbies team is made up of enthusiastic 6 and 7-year-olds who are completely new to the sport. Whether your child is full of energy, a little shy, or just keen to try something new, this team is all about fun, friendship, and learning the basics of the game in a safe, supportive environment.
Training and matches begin in September and October, with plenty of smiles, muddy knees, and proud moments along the way. These early weeks are a chance to build skills, confidence, and teamwork – all with the focus firmly on enjoyment.
Then, in January, the Newbies officially level up and become the new U7s team – ready to take on the season ahead with everything they’ve learned.
We’re so excited to have you with us at the very start of this journey. Get ready for tag belts, team spirit, and a lot of high fives – because this is where rugby starts, and memories are made!
