Huge thanks to Ian Prescott and The State of Mind team who came over to Wilmere yesterday to talk about mental health.Guest speakers were Ian Knott and Danny Sculthorpe who shared their stories and held the room in complete silence.
It was very well received and appreciated by all.
Hopefully we can organise more night like this. #stateofmind#goodtotalk#zerosuicidealliance

Under 7’s Blacks
What an exciting time September will be! With growing numbers in the Under 7’s this year we’ve decided to enter another U7’s team in the North West Counties Juniors League
So joining the U7 Greens and U7 Reds will be the U7 Blacks – under the watchful eye of new coaches Lee Phillips and Simon Tickle. Great work to all involved, fantastic to see so many kids getting involved and enjoying the great sport of Rugby League.

Womens League Cup Final
Halton Farnworth Hornets where delighted to be chosen by the RFL to host the Final of the Women’s League Cup between Wigan St Patricks and Dewsbury Moor Girls.
The weather certainly wasn’t the best! But it didn’t dampen the spirits of both teams, what a fantastic game both teams put on.
In the end it was Dewsbury Moor Girls ARFLC who won, beating Wigan St Patricks A.R.L.F.C 24-8. Well done everybody 👏
Dewsbury Moor commented ‘Thank you for being such welcoming hosts. You really did put on a fantastic event. A day for our Ladies to remember for a long time!
